1. About Tiki Tua Experience
Tiki Tua Experience operates cultural tours and experiences in Ohinemutu, Rotorua, sharing the rich heritage and traditions of the Te Arawa people. By booking our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged
- Prices include GST and are quoted in New Zealand Dollars
- Group size requirements must be met as specified for each experience
3. Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled experience
- Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% charge
- No-shows will be charged the full amount
- Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled or refunded
4. Cultural Respect and Protocols
- Participants must show respect for Māori cultural protocols (tikanga)
- Photography may be restricted in certain sacred areas
- Appropriate dress is required - no revealing clothing
- Listen to and follow guide instructions at all times
5. Safety and Liability
- Participants join tours at their own risk
- We recommend appropriate footwear for walking on uneven surfaces
- Medical conditions and dietary requirements must be disclosed at booking
- Children must be supervised by adults at all times
- We maintain public liability insurance but participants should have their own travel insurance
6. Intellectual Property
All cultural stories, performances, and content shared during experiences are the intellectual property of Te Arawa people and Tiki Tua Experience. Recording or reproducing this content without permission is prohibited.
